Oh sorry!! Not 'every child', but every 'boy child'!! A girl child has no right to live, she is not the thought of God, she is just a useless creature, she has no place in this 'beautiful world' of brutal murderers.
'Neha Afreen is the name which forced me to write this.Three-month-old
baby Afreen, was allegedly
battered and abused by her
father Umar Farooq for being born a girl. She died at a hospital in bangalore after suffering a cardiac arrest. It is shocking and equally heart breaking that even today such kind of gender bias exists in our society. Now, the incidence of child murder is among the highest in India. Who can forget the tragedy that sickened and shocked the nation few months back. That time it was two-year-old Baby Falak who left the brutal world under similar circumstances. No doubt, she deserved a much better world. Still, they say, 'India is shining'!
Being a girl, I'm proud to say that today, girls have outdone boys in every sphere of life. Girls support and stand by their parents in all difficult situations. They have the courage and strength to protect their family and give them all the happiness of the world. Shame on those who have failed to recognise their worth and call them a burden. I'd like to remind those people the famous Irish saying- '' A son is a son till he takes him a wife, a daughter is a daughter all her life.'' And I pray to God that no more Neha Afreens and Falaks be born in this world...
